i know and have had a few dealings with other members in this forum i stumbled across it one day when i found a rather old and funky sony boombox while looking for info.anyway i am an avid ebay seller who does it for a living and i usualy list worthy boxes that i come across but i was just in my garage and realized that i have aprox 20 boxes out there that i have not felt the need or want to get rid of weather it be a box i had as a teen i am 42 or one that just sounds very good to me.i do not posess any of the grail boxes lol but i cant explain my hanging on these boxes and always on the hunt for others.......is this an addiction or simple hording.yall let me know please.

You are a collector. You are not hoarding unless you feel the need to snatch up every one regardless of price. Most hoarders will focus on one make/model. And with 20 boomboxes, your addiction is nothing compared to some of the pros here, who are beyond salvation No hope of a cure, whatsoever for those guys...

lol 20 is conservative concidering i have a 3 car garage and can only see and get to half of it.i remember being 17 and carrying around my 5150 everywhere i went probably spent hundreds on batterys lol.i am always looking and one day i will find the one that i cant live without.

I agree with Johnny. By the way, the complete, minty, Sanyo C7 that I got from jmax is still one of my favorite boomboxes.
