This has been sitting in my signature for ages now and nobody ever asked which was kinda funny.
So - Teresa is a very good friend of mine who live is Massachusetts where this boombox appeared on Craigslist last year, I think it was October.
Yup - it was a Lasonic TRC-975.
So I am happy and ask her to get it for me what she did.
And from then on I kinda screwed up things  . I knew it was sitting there and went happily on purchasing other boomboxes with my money while this Lasonic still sat in her living room - not paid by me yet.
Well, after being a jerk for like half a year I finally got my butt lifted and paid her and thanks to her saint-like patience with me (Thanks again!) this thing arrived today at my house:

It has its contact issues and needs some work but this is a really solid basis to work with :-D .
I just played tapes through it and listened to the radio :-)
Line-In works too

So I am happy that this is here and happy she did not give up on me because she really had all reason to be :angelic:  .

Always nice to have someone that will help you out. Good buy, even if it does need some work

That would be awesome  .This box is going through a little restoration soon anyways

But seriously - it is in pretty good condition with both tape decks working, FM comes in (stereo is not so clear but it might be due to my room  ), the lights work...
Only things that it needs are your chrome  , contact cleaning, two original knobs and the right woofer needs some fixing since there is a vibrating sound which I guess is because the chrome cap is loose :hmmm:
