classic public enemy= great, modern public enemy= good but some songs, not so great.
i think the message of public enemy, has twisted at some point over the past 24 years. i think you need to be careful with some lyrics because different people portrey things they hear in different ways. some people may listen to public enemy and think the message is 'unity' which is a positive thing, and other people may listen to public enemy and think the message is that blacks hate whites and visa versa, which is a very negative thing, especially when everybody is equal and we all have to live together. fighting prejedice is always Good thing, but you need to ensure that people understand things in the way that it is intended to be understood. Songs like 'white man's heaven/Black mans hell' sends a mixed messge
