So there was phone call from a dude from who i got few boomers before. He is huge radio collector and have other electronic stuff all around his huge house. He told me that need cash for some ebay auction and will part with long kept in the attic stuff wich are waiting for attention for some love. It was shot in the dark. It didnt turned really splendid and i mean the condition of both ( it was a "lot deal" ) .
So you know me - im not after silver boomers but got em. Its good to keep the connection with this seller - he is finding rare stuff for sure. So i spent some (not small ) cash just with that in mind.
The rotel is MKII wich made me to take the deal. Not in best condition at all. There is a sound on radio, but leds not moving, the handle have pins ,but dont hold good , it looks like some restraining coils are missing or so . All is wired with this boomer. The sound on fm is damn :jawdrop: loud with really deep bass . Wired that on fm its workin just on "mono FM mute switch off" - i never saw such sighn before tho. On other MW and so it works on "wide" and "stereo" too. In phono the sound is really weak. Deck needs rebelting.... Anyway im stopping here. Will show the second monster in the "lot" deal Its insane machine - 18.9 kilos :w00t: . Mitsubishi mc8000 - already have some dibs  . Is is sick machine sure. So now - who will take care for the Rotel ? Collecting offers :-D

Wow, I have never seen the MK2 version of this Rotel! :-O
I heard they sound really good (I think they even fit the German HiFi norm just like the Telefunken 1M).
Somebody should get it quickly!

And that Mitsu...if I was not out of cash, this thing would already be on its way to me  . I mean this is surely one of the coolest turntable units ever made and the fact that cassette, tune and amp are included, this can replace a whole HiFi set up :w00t: . Damn, I surely wish I had some spare cash    .

not a huge 3 piece fan but that rotel is nice-very high end as rotel were massive on high end hifi gear during the seventies and eighties-so its a good score
