I have the black and a silver version of this aka. Terrible controls but nice looking boxes.
I think these we’re all made in Hong Kong regardless of the brand on them. Does yours say ‘Made in UK’?

I can not find made in the uk on the box but the brand is Roberts so i guess it's made in the uk.

Its called Brand manufacturing, you place an order and can have your name put on the front, just like cars.

As above, here's a Roberts RSR100 next to a Hitachi TRK8110e, both made in Japan by Hitachi. Your model name doesn't google any results which is interesting tho.

I’m pretty certain that that Roberts is going to be made in HK just like the rest of the other versions. It’s very unlikely to have been manufactured in the UK back then.
