Who has Lasonic TRC-931 AND 975??

Need to know if the dual antenna version of the 931 is the same as the 975 antenna.

Hey Hemi,

I do not have a 931, but I have a 918, 920, 935 and 975 and all the antenna's are the same. So I can only assume the 931 is the same as well.

Anyone else know????

If you are talking about on the lasonic website they do carry the ones for the 975 as for being the same I am not sure as my trc931 has a single one

I just reinspected all 4 radio's they are all the exact same antenna and they are all 8 inches closed.

Bear in mind my TRC-931 is the original model, and it doesn't have original antennas.
My 975 is all original to my best knowledge.

The clips for the antennas, however, match up almost exactly. I'd say the 931 antennas will work fine.

No the 951 looks just like the 975 but all black knobs and all. I know old member Johnny had one I also believe it did not have the colorful decals

I meant longer for the 920 when fully opened. I have the originals on both my 920 and my 975 the 920 has 5 sections and my 975 only has 4 sections. At first measurement it seemed like the 920 when closed was shorter but that's because my 975 was sticking out a little. After final measurements though the 975 has shorter antennas when opened. That is why they state it only fits 935, 951, and 975 on lasonic website

Therefore, I might as well order a couple of new ones. I wont do it for a couple of days just incase, but it's looking like they'll fit

Interesting. Well, I hadn't checked that! I'm sure your right on the over all lentgh then.

I didn't know there was a 951 either, so there you go....now I have to look for one of those!
