BomBeat 40
JVC RC-550
Prosonic PQR-9962
Panasonic RX-5250
Crown CSC-970

I think that's all the must-haves..

Not getting the chance to phyiscally see or hear grails before you get them I think is a big part of the excitement
and to be honest I reckon theres less than 5 in my collection I heard and experienced first hand before I bought them.

Rock On.

Damn near everything

But how lucky are we really....I mean think about it...

You LOVE Boomboxes :w00t: But they don't make them any more

BUT...They made 100's of thousands of them :w00t: :w00t: So there are plenty still out in the world :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :-D

AND....There are literally 1,000's or different models to choose from...every size, shape and sound quality!

Life Is Good :sin:

Knowing Blasterpunk, I was blessed enough to see, touch and play with almost any known grail :w00t:

However, some exceptions would be:
Bombeat 40
Crown 970
GF909
GF919
TC999

Yeah, I guess that's about it. I would love to hear the Crown and the Toshiba some day just to see if the hype is true. Honestly (even though I risk getting yelled at by saying this) I believe the 970 cannot be so much better than the 850 and the Bombeat 40 cannot be much better than the S90. :hmmm:

Never seen or heard of that model.

Others include JVC's big mono 550

Other Conions besides the C100
Other Toshiba BomBeats besides the WX1

M90, C100F, Bigben, S90, All Telefunkens.

S913 it's here in Brazil, but no time (to me and Foley) to meet to see (and hear) the boxes.

I confess, I do not have any hope to see one day many of I have in my collection right now so, be patient and be prepared when the chance to get the grail come!

Cheers.

Agreed........ I've never seen a 40, so I wonder if it's considered a grail because of its styling, or its sound? Yes it's rare, but there are other boxes that are even more rare, so I'm going to have to say it's because of its styling, because Toshibas tend to be weak on bass.
