Which boomboxes have alarm clocks?

I have decided I need to wake up every morning to a beautiful.... boombox, after very literally smashing my alarm clock to bits this morning.
|-) |-) |-) :-O :nugget: :angry: :evilmad: :devil: :ls-duel: :annoyed: :drool: |-) |-)

It went down hard though, screaming "PEH! PEH! PEH! PEH! PEH!" till the very end with its last dying breath.

So my question is, what are some good looking boxes with clocks and an alarm (or wake to music)? I'm not talking egg cd players, I need something with classic/vintage/unique "boombox" hotness to prevent me from destroying it :yes:

Well you certainly would not want to smash the elegant silver beauty (the black is in my avatar) which will not only wake you up with delicious sound, but please you by it's looks!

Also the two big black ones behind it, the CP-77W & CP-99W!

I wonder if my GE with clock has some sort of alarm? :hmmm: I'll check that when I get home.

I know, I know, now I'm actually starting to feel a little guilty.... It was only doing its job :-/

This is actually the second one to meet its end by my hands, 1 more and I'm a serial clock killer! Thats why I'm taking these measures now, before its too late and there is no hope.

Fear not, clock radios of the world, I will not doom another of your kind to my nightstand! :-P

I know... I'm thinking I should maybe buy that sucker!!! But I have a 1 year old. I don't need an alarm. :lol:

Plus, I just bought my 4th Nakamichi tape deck... ;-)

Cuz' it aint just about boomboxes...., I like all good things with tape decks in them!

Ooh that is nice. I don't have any experience with Nak home gear but we used to carry it in my car audio shop back in the day. Good stuff :thumbsup:

That Optonica is a beast! I might lose that fight :lol:

So far I'm really liking the idea of the M9990, or something similar. Fatdog, whats the word on the GE?
