I would love to start collecting and restoring. Where is a good place to start for sourcing these guys ?

You'll find them in thrift stores, estate sales, yard sales, local craigslist, and eBay.

Fatdog is spot on because there is no simple answer you just have to do the legwork. Yes it may take quite a bit of effort but on occasion when you snag one it will be enough to keep you going until one day you'll look around and wonder how in the he!! did you get so many boomboxes. :hmmm:

a few weeks ago i had none.
now i have four.
one coming.
trying to get this other one.....**** i hope i get that one......

a friend of mine found a c 30 for me for ten bucks. it's not the coolest but it's loud. :w00t:
