Hello
I have a Hitachi TRK 3D 80 Boombox.
I need 2 screws for it to assemble the cabinet with at the top (Top cover). According to the technical manual, there are 3 (BT) screws to the top that have part no. 4577816 and is 3X20 mm The screws are bronze/gold coloured. I need two pieces exactly the same, to keep the radio in as original condition as possible, (Even if you can't see the screws) but I couldn't find any similar screws when I searched on google.
I assume that standard screws are also used to assemble plastic cabinets on other radios of other brands, as Hitachi does not make screws, but that Hitachi got the screws for Radio and video from somewhere.
Does anyone know where I can find the two screws?, so that I don't have to go and buy a whole Hitachi spare part just to get the two screws?

Well, if you need 2 original screws, and only they will do, then you'll need to buy a parts box. All these boombox manufacturers commissioned screws specially for their paticular products. You can get them made, I checked with some screw manufacturers, but you'll have to order some insane amount (think: 20,000 or so) and they'll make it for you. They have unique threads to cut into plastic and you aren't gonna find them in any hardware store.

It is received.
It obviously shares the same screws with the Hitachi TRKP-65 Since the same part No. is also to come up with it. But then there was nothing else to do but find one for spare parts.
