I was going to make some crack about them needing the money to pay the gas bill, but that would be inappropriate, would it not?

I most certainly would not regard that as old school, perhaps my 21yo old son might though.

he thinks my fine collection of first edition elegant metal sony
cd players --from the 90's are
" useless oldschool relics"

and my older kids use that exact phrase to describe ME !!

Tell me about it, my nieces could never have items from last year because they were to old. New Cell phones, ipods, cars, clothing or anything else has to be current or they were embarrased.
