I've been reading about members finding some amazing deals for rare and desirable boxes on Craigslist and Kijiji and other sites. Well a guy in my area (a former member here) has been trying to sell off his collection at above EBay prices and has been clogging up Craigslist with his ads. I have no issue with him selling his boxes at whatever price he deems they are worth. My issue is that anybody who 's posting new listings is using his outrageously priced boxes as a pricing gauge to sell there's. I've seen people attempting to sell eggs for $200+ and I'm pretty sure that there's a correlation. These ad's have been continuously posted for over 3 years now and periodically he goes up on the price??? :bang: The link below is for a DiscoLite that he originally posted 2 years ago for $2400 at that time. What do you guys think about his sales strategy? https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/msg/5606524820.html

I've seen those ads too and they are waaaaaaay up there fishing for a sucker..... frustrating to sift through his stuff but you can use "-(enter word here)" and put the negative sign and a key word he uses and it will remove his listings from your search that is common in all the ads he posts.

Example, instead of just typing "Boombox" in the search, use this "boombox -Brighton" because all of his ads have the word brighton in them.

Yes, you will not see other ads that have the word brighton in them, but 99% of those ads are his anyway for boomboxes. You can use the same technique in all search engines, google, craigslist, kiji, ebay, etc...

Hey, just because you missed the $40 MINT M90, doesn't mean you can't find a $50 MINT M90!!!!

Lady selling it had no clue what it was so i guess she just put a randon $40 number !
The listing said "Old school JVC"
