alot of people would dismiss this box on its looks.

in fact its not a box at all.
for listening to music tho outside its pretty hard to beat.

twin decks
cd player
ipod input.

above all tho
its really one of the best sounding portable stereos of them all.

My 2 faves would be kaboom and m90.

I remember about 2 years ago i took out an m90 on a carnival night, it was only on half volume, i was out with a friend

I wasn't paying attention cuz i was listneng to the reggae that was on while i was walking, my friend said turn around and look at the people so i did thy were in ore of the power, some mouths were gaping and qute a few were taking photos as we were walking i felt famous :w00t: lol so yea the m90 is my fave for the sheer power and attention you get :-)

but you knew i would say that  :-)

Tim and Bill I do agree that the DT707 is a great boomer, I just picked one up a little over a week ago but haven't had a chance to use it outside seeing that it's Winter.

As of now my baby Kaboom the RV-B55 and my Aiwa CS-660 are my main outside boxes.

I have to say my kaboom NB1 it vibrates my siding if its too close............

My garage system is what I turn on when I outside my house usually. Its just a cheap 100w x 2 Insigina with some old school (12 year old) JBL towers with 2 100 watt amplified 8" subs (1 in each tower)............ listen to my bass go BOOM - EXPLOSION!!!

I can make my subdivision sound like a outdoor concert :w00t: Neighbors know I'm a little kid at heart and I bruise and cry easily so the leave me be :dunce: :angelic:

My all times favourite is the PHILIPS compact line!

It was on some holidays, events and more....

Why?
> compact size and not too heavy
> needs only 4 batteries
> good sound (spatial stereo)
> strange,but oldskool look

btw: means for CARRYING around! :sin:
Only for taking in the garden or so i prefer bigger boomers! :angelic:

i will also say that outside i like boxes that have some kind of exciter circuitry weather is be biophonic ambience or wide.
while i am not overly excited by this bucket brigade circuits inside they do really make a differnce outdoors.
especialy when you are aways from the blaster.

To me it has to be the Paladium cause the sound is very good with highs and a solid bass easy to carry not heavy at 16 pounds with 10D cells and it has a battery saver button. :-)

I will go for variety. If I'm feeling careless ( usual for me these days) there are any number of black 3-piece '90s boxes that serve me well.Variety has always been important for me in this hobby.Since boxes all sound different why not experience every one of them and learn a little at the same time?
