My favorite is Panasonic RS-4360DFT, the reason? It's the best looking box on earth, the best of build quality, the most expensive ever made. It is the best of the best. Put your hand on that model and you will know that all your other boxes are just child's toys.

I'm fortunate to own some grail boxes including the M90, but for me my favourite is one that will never leave my collection, a Candle JTR 1249 .

The reason is purely nostalgic. When I was a young teen I begged for a boombox, but my mom was single parent and money was extremely tight. That Christmas I got this box and was ecstatic. I knew how much this set her back and have never forgotten the sacrifice. It by default is my "best" box

I wish i could answer the question but i have had far to many boxes...my first box was an Akai pj33...and one i dont think i will ever part with is a sony f40 from great member Litfan who is watching over us

I wasn't aware you had Rich's F40, Reno. That's a keeper for sure.

That's a great story! I had the German version of that box. It's super funky.

I had one similar to this one it was a Conic the difference was the leds was over top of the cassette player it was a loud boombox should have kept it
