I know I have posted before on this subject but man talk about a dry spell, I have not seen any Studio 1M and especially the HP800 Telefunken for months!

I guess this is good for those in the U.S. that owns the HP800 it just makes it more ultra rare.

Everytime I look at the HP800 I just fall in love again.

What I've noticed is that a lot more German eBay sellers are taking Paypal now (not just bank transfers), and they're willing to ship anywhere. A whole new world of eBay stuff has opened up!

blasterpunk says they are as common over there-
as M70s are over here :-)

:agree:

I have no idea why i don´t really like the M1. :hmmm:
So i will never get one.
Don´t know why...

Maybe my heart goes on for the poor cheap units. :angelic:

hey roman --
its not really that 'freaky' :-)
to not include the great and famous tele studio on your wish list-

because --
they are extremely heavy to actually carry // use , and
they are miles from what many consider a 'ghettoblaster'
as they are more for indoor shelf use
:agree: :-D :breakdance:

juan --do you like the 800 sound as much as your tele studio??

The HP800 is in a class of it's own I love them both, but the Studio 1M for me has a rich sound I guess is because it's a three way speaker system.

I bought a motor for the tape player of the HP800 still haven't installed it but she still plays well with the original, I'll just wait until the original motor stops working.

I have to get her serviced due to the power button not working I have to use the timer button to switch her on but thats no biggie we have a great tech guy here in Tampa.

The record buttons for some reason are not attach to the inner sliders but I don't record from boomboxes so I could live without it. Someday I'll get that done thats not a big concern for me.

The HP800 is a beautiful box even though she's not a Studio 1M she can bring joy to me everytime.

I've been in two-minds about whether I want one or not too.
I do try to only collect hifi brand high end of the 3 piece varieties now, and this slots into that description beautifully, but I'm still not sold on it enough to get it on my wishlist.

But every time someone posts how amazing they sound, my interest picks up a little more.

Shame they never made it out here (to my knowledge), the international shipping would be diabolical.

Rock On.
