Most who owns more boomboxes, rotate them to listening at home.

But one is always power connected and stays on the same place.

stopped using boomboxes a while ago im bored :-/

Do you hear no news or music on radio? :hmmm:

I have just lost interest in them vienna im not sure why :hmmm: i turned down a nice lasonic 931 that went cheap on our ebay.

As much as i love the m90 if one came along cheap i don't think i could be bothered buying it, part of the problem is when i play music the cow downstairs just complains so i just can't be assed anymore. i wish i had never moved house now

I'll just have to find somewhere else to live im afraid.

:-D I rotate all my boomboxes to give them a bass workout, But the one that is always pluged and I use offen is my Sanyo 9998K cause of the great reception for am news and sports, Also cause the deck is 100% I have it connected to my PC and I use it to record music from youtube. :w00t:

I have two main ones that have been the most used for last two or three months.

My original issue TRC-931 (with YOUR deck keys, Roman!) gets carried to and from work every day and gets a great work out playing cassettes on the walk to work, playing the hot tunes via the FM transmitter on my music collection at work as well as recording one on one computer helps sessions to tape multiple times a day. She's a real workhorse, but she's due to be swapped out of rotation soon.

My main box at home is my M90. Connected to my iMac is plays all my at-home music and I do all my recording on it for my walk to work tapes too. .... This isn't getting swapped out any time soon!

Rock On.

I always have my JVC DC33L plugged in as well as my new Altec Lansing IMT800 Ipod boombox sitting on top of the DC33L in my bedroom. :-)

My Sharp-9494 is the only box in my bedroom, the one that gets the most regular plays A:) While I get ready in the morning and B:) As live monitor when I do my radio broadcasts. :-)

The Aiwa CD-880 has become a permanent fixture on my computer desk. :-) I'm still amazed at the impressive sound that comes out of it.

I wouldn't call it my main boombox but my Kaboom is always plugged in my bedroom, I listen to it when getting ready for work and whatnot.
None of my other boxes are plugged in but I have a lead thats always plugged in so I can use any of them at any time. ;-)

My main box is my JVC PC-11, it will always have a place on my wall display. I rotate the others.

While most of my boomboxes are in self-storage or in the basement of our house, and, at best, get rotated into my "play list" a couple times a year, my Contec 8913 (and its Sanwa 7065 twin) are always in the living room, always ready to go (with fresh batteries, for indoor and outdoor use). I know these are obscure units to be so attached to, but they really do put out (I'm constantly amazed at their full, rich sound), they're "easy on the eyes," and absolutely everything works on both of them (which I can't say for many of my boxes). Along with my Sears 2199 (which finally, after a couple of years of constant use, ended up on a storage shelf), these are my absolute favorite boomboxes of all time! And that's sayin' somethin'!

My "main" box is kind of a rotating affair.... I regularly use:

JVC RC-M70L (back patio)
Panasonic RX-5150 (also back patio)
Sharp GF-9191 (also back patio)
JVC RC-M90JW (back patio)

Panasonic RX-DT707 (permanently living in the Garage)

In the main house I ususally am playing music on my desk via vintage Sanusui AU-D77X and a Nakamichi RX-303 pushing sound to a pair of Infinity RS-1 Desktop speakers. That rig cost me less than my M90 and sounds better than any boombox out there...

Otherwise, the DJ booth or living room systems are making noise. I only occasionally use boomboxes inside.

Most of my boxes see little use but they do get used on a rotational bases. The boxes that do get regular or semi-regular use are:

Sanyo M7750
Aiwa CS660
JVC RV-B55GY (baby kaboom)
Panasonic RX-5600
JVC M-70
