I always felt like my RX-7200 is missing something. After a few years of search I was incredibly lucky to find it. Before I'd show the pictures I'd like to ask for your opinions, please :-)

Come on 8 minutes for the correct answer, that was way too fast yet BINGO!
I kept searching for this remote for almost 3 years - EVERY single listing of RX-7000 and RX-7200s was remoteless :-)
I could not believe my eyes when I found new in the box remote it's like opening a time capsule.

Haha Royce yes they were sort of silly weren't they!
But kind of cool to have from a nostalgic point of view, and to see if the port still works.
I found an old wired remote for a VCR that has the right connector, I'm going to rewire it for my M90.

I also have that Beauty..... but I like to use my hands on controls. Wire remote ...yuck! :w00t:   Who wants that!
Me I always dreamed to make it complete, on another side PRACTICAL use, hmm? Who wants to listen to audio cassettes in 2017 when you have every digital format under your hands without even needing to FF or change cassettes anyway?

In 1980 when this radio was made wireless ultrasound remotes were only the expensive option for TVs. IRs were about to become introduced later in the 1980s.
Even the ultrasound one would probably double the price of this radio. IMHO ultrasound RCs were a joke as well.
