Don't believe I've seen this question, 'less I just wasn't searching for it or sut'm. The main thing is music, right? And to be able to take it places. But what kind of music are you listening to on your boxes?

I've been staying in a comfort zone lately of mainstream '60s-'80s stuff, mainly on the Rewound Radio internet station or from Qobuz. If I'm in the mood for a CD on the DT-680, it could be Los Amigos Invisibles, Pizzicato Five, Basement Jaxx, whatever. Cassettes are even more adventurous - how 'bout some Polish metal from Lady Pank? OK, maybe just some '90s TV or movie soundrack? All right, Madonna it is.

So what music are you rockin' on your boxes?

Early hip hop mainly, golden era 79-84. In addition to a load of 80’s pop, from Queen, Eurythmics, Paul Young to anything more modern that tickles my joints. Spotify’s go to’s are Young MC, Fat Boys album, Run DMC and many many artists of the hip hop golden era.

I made a tape with Czarface, Brother Ali, B. Bravo, Prince Johnny C, Eric Boss, RA, Aesop Rock and Chill Rob G. So, that's what I've been rockin' this afternoon.

Didn't really mean for it to go that way, but I actually AM listening to a Madonna cassette right now! Testing out a new Aiwa I just took in.

I hate love songs in my opinion there's nothing worse than a f****** love song to depress the s*** out of you for no reason at all.

Just a CSD-ES225. Nut'm special... just felt sorry for it sitting in the Goodwill bins. And for $5 including the batteries, why not?
