I've probably got to do this to mine one-day! I managed to snag one in the carry bag from eBay for a great price a year or 2 ago. I love the way these look and they sound pretty good too

I think I will sell it, I'm new in this forum, I have see there is a sell section but I don't know if, as a new member, I can sell it through this but I have an eBay account so if someone interested in please PM me and we will see.
It is in very good condition, all working except tape, I will check it these days...sadly there is no remote with it. It's a very nice unit but too young for me, I prefer the look of older ones

As you can see, the belt seems good but moved from is position and cassette is stuck in it...see the motor pouley...16762920001494679027651156328378.jpg16762920299204648108535521306803.jpg

I don't like autoreverse
It's a good feature but it is so complicated when working on it, remind me twenty years ago when I trying to fix videocassette recorder, spending hours and days trying to understand the mechanism
I prefer take my hand and reverse the cassette

Cassette stuck again...I have set the belt, plug it, power on, head move and liberate the cassette, hit fast forward and cassette was stuck again...
I'm crying...but I will do it!16762959679942145041226378955932.jpg

The "rubber feet" of the motor are really dry...allows the motor to move a bit too much I think...maybe...I'll try to find some good ones in my tape transport cemetary...16762970777249217197823368014171.jpg

Yes!
It is working now!
I haven't another right sized "silent block" so I have put two washers to increase the grip a little bit, the motor is more stable and the deck work well now. I must replace them when I'll find parts but for now at least it's good.16763042114102528925473028539571.jpg16763042553906140462875103446989.jpg

You see this spring for tape door opening button?
Shitty wavy plastic spring...not a big deal, it works and all but....
It is why I prefer older stuff...when the spirit of Konosuke Matsushita was in every Panasonic radio.
