Hello guys.
When you buy a boombox in a second-hand store or in a street market, what do you use to disinfect it?
I would like to disinfect the outside of a boombox, but I don't know what I can use.
I don't want to damage the color or the writing.
Thanks

If I can take it apart, I put my blaster cases in a nice warm bubble bath. If I can only surface scrub one that is still together, windex, toothbrush, and an old t-shirt work really well.

The windex is a glass cleaner?

Are you sure that it doesn't cause problems to the color and the writings of the boombox?
I'm not an expert and I would not ruin the stereo.

Thanks

Well they can be dirtier on the inside than the outside and I don’t like the idea of all that grunge in my house.

I use a microfiber towel on mine, and some very gentle natural cleaner, nothing with ammonia or alcohol in it, I'd be worried about the print or finish on some of these things with windex and other strong cleaners, Depends how dirty it is I guess.

Baby wipes or wet wipes or whatever they’re called. They’re designed to grab gunk (baby poo) and hold on to it. Ideal if you’re not taking the box apart. Have some clean dry cloths ready to soak up any moisture that escapes and go for it
