I know PC stands for "Portable Component", but does anyone know what some of the others mean? Such as: RC, RX, TRK, etc? Would love to know the origins behind some of these "call letters".
I can imagine RX is to signal the line of radios being sucessors to a previous RC line of models. Not sure if there's more meaning behind the X. I think someone suggested Sharp's GF stood for Great Finder referring to radio reception.
TRC might stand for Transistor Radio Cassette? TRK maybe too, but they didn't want to use the C as well or somethin?
SRC will probably be Stereo Radio Cassette
SR Stereo Radio...
