What boombox you bought that surprised you

Aiwa TRP-950/955, it's a small box with only 6 batteries, yet sounds better than the vast majority of 8 or 10-battery boxes.

The Philips D 8134 was a pleasant surprise. For such a small radio it reproduces a wide range of sound, the low frequencies are all there (but with no punch obviously). Even the bigger D 8434 sounds less balanced and is just a bit louder.

None of them, i did my research....quiet a few disappointed me though like the m70

actually there is one the conion c100, it blew away my m90's but was just to big and loud for an old fart like me
