What an RX5150 SHOULD look like

As you know, the RX5150 comes with these weird-ass urine-yellow speaker grills

And here is Norm's, with metallic graphite grills
Almost looks like a Crown 970.....but better

You know, with out really even thinking about it, I have always "Kinda" liked the 5150, but always thought, "If the speakers weren't all faded and yellowed, then I would like it".

Are the speakers suppose to be that color? or are they faded?

For sure, the simple color change on the speaker grills looks amazing!

You guys should hear how it sounds........ the bass is soooooooo good. It also has real tweeters now. Not overpowering ones, but at least working ones. It's also been completely recapped a few years ago. I listen to this thing all the time. It's one of my most listened to box.

I think that 5150 on the first pic is maybe yellowish because of smoked environment

I really think the yellow WAS the original color, because I've seen so many like that. I think they wanted to match the color of the back panel.

Hey Scott. You forgot to paint the mic screens. Thems the hardest ones to mask due to the size.
