I apologize if this has been discussed before, I scrolled down and could not find anything helpful.
I know about the contact cleaner and believe me, I've squirted this pot within an inch of it's life.
Underneath, on top, in the little hole, and it has helped a great deal.
The volume nob on my panasonic is still a little scratchy though.
I was wondering if there is some underground, experimental method that I did not know about short of replacing the pot
That I didn't know about.
Where even do you find a replacement pot?

Cheers OSS :afro:

scott you really have to work the knobs back and forth many times ,i just sit there with the box in my lap tuning the offending pot until it improves or i get out the axe  .

The Pot may need to be disassembled in order to clean properly. If that doesn't restore it, then it's worn and you could extend the life a little by restoring the worn connections but it would only be a temporary fix.
