What about shoulder straps for your other boomboxes?

I can offer up a more generic style strap like I made for my SCR-8.

Here are some prices for the parts to make these for you guys:

$.75 for a 1" clip end
$1.00 for a 1.5" clip end
$.45 for a 1" ajustment buckle
$.55 for a 1.5" ajustment buckle
$.17 to $.22 per foot of strap approx


So 4 foot of strap (0.88) + 2 clip ends (2.00) + 1 adjustment buckle (0.55) = $3.43 (they charge minimum $10 shipping and obviously there would be more than one order worth of material for that $10 shipping charge)

Add partial shipping of materials to me, ($2ish), assembly, rivits, and shipping to you, I think I could make these for you with only the hardware strapworks.com supplies for.......... $16 shipped in USA $18 shipped most places international .


What do you guys think? If this is a hit, I mind as well make these straps for us too

PS, the strap shown below is 1.5" and has the heavy duty clip ends on it. I think they are a bit overkill, but some people would probably like to know the clip isn't going to fail.

PSS, I am also starting to make belts to hold your pants up! If you want your pants belt to match your boombox shoulder strap, I work that out for you too .

I'll take a strap exactly like the one on the SCR-8 above. If you have any red strap material, I'd like a red one, but blue would be okay.

No red at this time, but I was going to get some in the future .



I will let this idea run for a little bit and see if I can get one big order setup through strapworks, order the material people are interested in, and have a few extra sets/colors on hand so we save on shipping charges.

None that color right now..... What is the connection points of the kaboom? I don't have one . here are some strapworks colors:

wowminister, the strap I am thinking for yours is something that won't be removable. Is your strap connection like this candle/helix?:

The box above I want to make a strap that has the ends pre-looped with no metal clip. The metal clip will just slide and scratch up that bar and nick up the box. You would have to open your boombox, slide the strap looped ends over the metal pins in the boombox, and close it back up. This way only the strap material is in contact with the bar/plastic of the boombox.

Yeah the strap holder is just a permanent loop, a bit wider and slimmer than the helix.

I will photo it later (im back home for the weekend, but here is an idea)
