this has to be one of the best sounding minis i have herd. the jvc pc-50 even the speakers have built it speaker stands and it has killer looks i love it

Are those stands original or add ons? Hard to believe that the center section would be supported by the speaker clips alone. It does give it a unique look though.

The stands are not designed to hold up the unit. They are exactly what they are...speaker stands. I had a girlfriend in high school when I was in Germany who had one.


I slept on one of these when I saw it on the 'Bay. They are very nice sounding little units. Think RX-C50, but not as heavy or powerful.

Great pics...I'm glad you posted them! I saw one of these in a second-hand store a few months ago, and the speaker stands were missing. Just gaping holes left in their place, but I figured they were for stands! I would have picked up that box but it was beat-up shape, had a dead deck, and the shop wanted $100. Yours looks great though - very high-end looking mini!

You have a unique boombox. I dont think I have any that can play fine in 2+ inches of water.

Actually, hmm, glue some styrofoam floats on the bottom, and it would make a killer pool boombox.
