Hello Guys, i have been busy for a while with work so i havent posted much lately..my apologizes! Yesterday i came across 3 nice boxes and two of them i already had in the collection but i couldnt resist the temptation to bring them home..

Its the welknown SHARP VZ 2500..tuner is working but the rest is sleeping for a while i guess..

Next i found my first boombox again which i bought when i was a little boy(OMG what has that changed during the years..lol!) but with again a new badge on the front..this one is called the soundmaster..now we have the UNIMEX, MARC and now the SOUNDMASTER which are 99% identical boxes..the only thing that differs that there are boxes especially made for the US which have only FM, MW and SW1 and SW2 in the tuner section. Mine has LW instead of SW1 and SW2.

The last one is a box that is a real beauty and from outstanding German quality..the GRUNDIG VZ 2400 world receiver.

Nope, i dont look for them at fleamarkets but most of the time i find these boxes on auction sites and i usually pick them up myself .
They are a bit more expensive but overall in better condition and you can try them first so you wont get disappointed.

I always wanted to live in Europe. Back to my heritage. And now I know why. Awesome finds man!!!!!

The Soundmaster is excellent.........If the speaker grills were simply square, it would have looked rather ordinary, but by cutting one of the corners off the grill, they made it look very unique. :thumbsup:

I love the Soundmaster, very nice looking, that's the first time I've seen that model. :yes: Nice condition too. :-)

Thanks Brothers! The secret is to keep your eyes and ears open..and sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you dont..yesterday i picked up a SONY FH-7..it worked but when i got home i wasnt really what i was looking for..the tuner-section wasnt okay(the PLL doesnt lock properly at the adjusted frequency but a few mhz later..so 90.7 becomes 90.9 etc...) and the autoreverse cassetteplayer sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. At the end i payed too much but that is all in boombox-game, we will try to fixed it or get it fixed!
