VZ loose wires - no power

I just got the VZ-2000e
Off eBay £16

Turntable not working
I need the small band that works the linear arm

But seams to be no power to turntable
An ideas anyone.

Ps have you found a local repair shop yet?
If you do please post here
I'll do likewise

Bargain at £16! Just find the strip down instructions PDF on here and dive in, it's not that hard to strip the 2000 down if you follow the guide

It depends on how badly the PC board is broken. In many cases it can be fixed by reconnecting the broken lines with wires. Basically you find leads from the broken lines and retrace the connection.

Take a picture of the broken part and post it.

The green board is ok
It's the little brown one underneath
That looks snapped(please confirm if I'm right)


I got few wires loose on inside left
Not sure where from

MaybePOWER?

As no power button on it
But it powers up!
