VZ 3500 turntable issue

The turntable has new belts and stylus but is not playing at correct speed.
When I have seen this before it was an incorrect belt but this has the correct one fitted.
The adjusting trimpots do not affect the platter speed hardly and testing those out they are close to spec. so suspected good.
I replaced Q514 C2274 and am awaiting Q515 C2298.
Any suggestions to isolate further before pointing at the motor?

Replaced Q515 and setup speeds by using a strobe vinyl plate.
Fixed.

Thanks mate, now just need to try suss out why there is no radio reception at all on any bands.
Nothing on LW/MW and white noise on FM.
