I'm getting ready to clear some space and list some gear on craigslist, thought I'd let you guys know first.
Here's the list:
Sansui AU-D77X Integrated Amplifier with built in 5-band EQ, 110w per channel - Repaired last year by respected Tampa audio electrician at considerable expense. This is probably the last really good Sansui integrated amp that was made before the company's sad decline. This one looks and sounds great! $200
Sansui TU-217 Tuner - AM/FM bands only. I have the box for this one. Looks and sounds great: $50
Sansui RA-990 Reverberation Amplifier, Looks and works great: $25
Onkyo P-3150V Preamp - Works great, but is missing the little plastic cover that goes over the lights. Superficial part has no bearing on performance. Sounds great and will do a good job for you. Price reflects missing part. $30
Nakamichi RX-303 Cassette Deck - This is the rarest model of the famous Nakamichi tape-flipping autoreverse decks and considered one of the best 2-head decks ever made. It was professionally overhauled with new belts, idler wheel (and calibrated to Maxell XLII cassettes) in 2009. Makes phenomenal recordings. Looks, sounds and works great $250
Nakamichi RX-202 Cassette Deck - This is the most common of the Nakamichi tape flipping auto reverse decks (called UDAR): Idler tire replaced earlier this year. Works and sounds great. $100
Nakamichi 480 Cassette deck (Silver) - Playback deck only. Dolby circuits died on this one last year in the middle of a recording. This is common in these decks and the result of Nak-heads call the "orange cap disease." I'm told it's a pretty easy fix for a tech, if you care about recording. The playback sound is outstanding. $40
Sony TC-270 Reel 2 Reel - Old, black semi-portable self amplified model with speakers that clip and fold in to make a protective carrying case. Flea market from last year and had it playing. Worked it through most basic functions. This one does not sound good, but has enormous refurb potential. $25 (if you're not a tech and want a reel to reel, buy the Akai)
Akai X-200D Reel to Reel - I made lots of tapes with this, as recent as last year, and they sound pretty good. That said, it could definitely use an overhaul and calibration of the bias and VU meter circuitry before it gets heavy use againg, but it will play and record for you. All functions work, and you can still get the belts for this thing! Theres a NIB one on ebay right now approacing $400 with bids. Will sell here for $50
and finally,
a Pioneer CLD-M90 LaserDisc player. Also acts as a 5-disc CD Changer. I am pretty sure the remote is kickin' around here somewhere, too.... It works and sounds great! Includes the 20 movies and music video discs listed below: $100
