VHS boombox , kind of...

Hey gang!

I was browsing the classifieds for a new catch and I saw this by accident.Turns out to be a battery powered VHS portable player!
Mitsubishi HS-700E

Am I the only one who sees this baby for a first time? It would be so cool to take one to the park with one of my tv boomers and watch the original Terminator or Ghostbusters!

I knew they made portable VHS players I've actually seen a few in person but up till now I never saw the value in them but as of now being that I love VHS tapes a portable VHS player would be awesome even as opposed to just a regular VCR because it's cooler. I have the top of the line Sony Hi-Fi VHS and the thing is huge and heavy.

My buddy TJ the trash man gave me a bunch of VHS camcorders and let me tell you these things had everything with a microphones stands anything you can think of he found all this crap in the trash I still have these things they're pretty badass that's why I save them.

I owned the Mitsubishi HS710 OUR VHS, very similar to your model so I'm very familiar with it. It was a great unit except the portable battery was useless if left plugged in (as most batteries back then developed a "memory" of sorts).

I wish I kept it as it fit into my small TV stand back in the day beautifully. Great find!!

I want it but its kinda hard to buy it because I drive a 12-wheeler across EU,no address.The only way to get it is by hand. 85 euro is not a bad price.Maybe I can beat him down to 75, I often travel in this area so in a few weeks time I hope to get it. Not sure but I think it doesn't have a speaker. Interesting piece of machinery.
