the wife says its ugly i think its one of the coolest looking mono's iv ever seen. and it still has a working mic but missing the big dish on top and it sounds very good to even the tape works :thumbsup:

That's a special mono you have there Craig, they go for big bux...... and you can see why.

As much as I just love the look of the M70, I just get a real kick out of busy-looking boxes. Reminds me of my old military radio gear.

I have been looking at these BIG TIME on yahoo.jp. I think they are VERY COOL looking!

So what is the deal with the mic? It separates from the radio? No wire? What's up with the dish?

Your's is spotless!

the mic dose take a battery i thought it was wiles but its not . the mic was used in conjunction with the dish thats all i no gives me a mission to find that dish.

OK, if the mic takes a battery, then it must pick up stuff amazingly!

I'll be looking for one with a mic and dish!

try sourcing the parabola dish from japan-i dont think anyone else on here will have one of these monos im afraid-but its absolutely fantastic-ive fancied one of these myself for some time now,and never spotted one at the recycling centre i go to-and believe me they get some crazy stuff in!my contact who gets me 2 or 3 boxes a week has just found me for free a sharp gf3800 mono-its a huge thing with apss and great sound-but the one you have here trumps it by a long way!congratulations! :thumbsup: :drool:
