So I have something lovely on it's way across the country from an awesome fellow BBXery member. He got it to the post office it very fast, sent me great packing pictures, and insured it out the ass. :) In addition he provided me with a tracking number so naturally I have been checking it everyday. The problem though is that USPS, well, it sucks. Haha. I mean, it has been telling me that my package has been shipped on the 30th the whole time. Anyone else suffer like this?
:-P

Delivery confirmation is not the same as actual tracking. It will only tell you when it hits major Post Office hubs and when it was actually delivered. I don't think it will provide you with an ETA or specific tracking like you get with UPS or Fedex. But, you pay out othe nose for that extra tracking ability....

Kick back and relax, your box will get there..... no stress! LOL!

Oooohhh. So there's basically 2 numbers then? A conformation number that just says accepted/delivered and a tacking which updates? I see. I'm used to fedex. Thanks for the clarification jaetee!

Personally, I like FedEx more so than those other carriers 'cause they'll tell you from the jump what day your package will arrive and the specific hours it should arrive.

Wow Skippy that's kind of wild to think about the tour that sweet little mini is taking.

I agree with the FedEx sentiments, I've had excellent success and great tracking with them. Only one screw up in many years of shipping that worked out fine in the end. USPS tracking stinks in comparison which is one big reason I prefer FedEx, USPS or DHL.

me i have good success with all of them ups fedex usps it really going to depend on who ships it as i have recieved boxes from hong kong with no problem but recieved a box from california that arrived with a crack on the case,, so its going to really depend,, and on tracking numbers i prefer fedex or ups as they will have that info, when i see it in orlando i know it will be home the next day,, usps it hard to tell sometimes as most people just send the package without even at least giving a confirmation num so on that end i would have liked to track it always

But seriously, they might not be bullsh!tting, Skippy. The planes weren't flying for awhile. Then they were 'cause they figured that the danger level went down. Now, the volcano is spitting out ash again, so who knows... :-/

This might be one case where it's better that your package arrives late, than to NEVER arrive... If you know what I mean. :-O
