So, I have these vintage 6-½" 8 Ohm woofers made by Rola in late '71, and they sound great so long as you don't push them into IMD. I was initially going to use them as Bookshelf speakers, but I kinda wanted to take them into the outdoors as well. So how about a 60's-70's aesthetic DIY boombox with great SQ & bass? They're perfect for just that with their high compliance rubber surrounds, low resonance lightweight cones and pressed curvilinear design for respectable cone breakup.
