So my stereo has removable speakers and it will allow them both to work if you use 6 D battery’s but if you plug it into the mains it will only allow one speaker to work. I’ve tried multiple power plugs but nothing changed. Both speaker sides work, but if both are plugged in while using the mains it makes a buzz sound only.

That big green cap in the second pic from the bottom looks like it might be bulging. An open cap on the power board can cause the noise .

This could be a filter cap . a filter cap is design to filter out certain sounds or noises or to smooth out the power supply electrical noises

Unisef are under rated. It sounds like there may be a problem with the AC/DC interlock it's a little switch inside the AC socket that isolates the DC from the battery compartment.
