Two Sanyos and SCR 8 added to my Lil Collection

I am trying to break away from my big black boxes (save me some cash ) I won these 2 sanyos on ebay for cheap-At the very least these will be good for the park, car wash, and just outside in general Total is $69 for both and $36 for the SCR8

I thought it would go for super high, But I am lucky with auctions,I always get my big black boxes for $105 or less and I have scored some grails since 2002 for under $50

When fully functional, the SCR-8 has a very nice warm sound, it will distort a about halfway up so you'll have to back off the bass. I dump...I mean sold mine to Ira as I have the twin G.E. 5239-A "Blockbuster" which has better speakers and a more robust punch.

with OS, although the SCR-8 is a nice box but I prefer the Blockbuster I just got a few weeks ago for exactly the reasons he mentions. At the price you paid though the SCR-8 is a great buy, you'll enjoy it.

Yep, Got an SCR-8. Good box, great on battery life. I swear they never seem to die in this box. Good sound, I plug in my MP3 player and haul it to party's. People just can't seem to take their eyes off the meter lights!
