Today i won an JVC PC-X200 on an auction site. It has quite a good sound especially when you turn on the hyper-bass sound(as you know by now i am a heavy bass loving kind of guy). I took it home for twice the price of a Happy Meal so i think i did a pretty good job here. In the afternoon i had to pick up my daugther and decided to stop by at an Pawn shop to have a look there. Exactly when we opened the door and stepped into the shop, one of the shop klerks planted a very nice Philips Boomer on the shelf. It was complete with the remote control and the instruction manual. There was a little yellow note on it which stated that everything worked except the tape unit. It was priced at only one Happy Meal so i decided to take it home with me. The sound is very good for this Philips from after the legendary boombox-period. The typenumber is AZ 1565 and it has dynamic bas boost what i like very much.

Here are some(sorry to say lousy)pics:

I have a PC-X200. My Mother in Law uses it now to listen to her gospel stations on. The digital tuner took her for a ride though as I enjoyed watching her figure out how to use the unit.

I noticed that mine doesnt hold the frequency or the memory when you turn it off so you must tune in everytime you switch it on. But everything else works fine, its not the most beautiful but its a nice box.
