The basic NPs used to work for ever, and never known to chew tapes.

Agree all the way. Panasonic is the best brand overall with quality and longetivity of its cassette player mechanisms to tuners to the feel of the switches and knobs.

Lol not the start my friend, I have one like In your Avatar 2 RX- 5050'S(one has no volume pot) and a RX-5085 plus these two little creature's. Tk's though.
