as some of you know i went to australia for a holiday and meet up with terry and we spent the day talking boomboxes and we did some trades. so i came home with a gf-1000 and a gf9494 down my pants 
. we had 69kgs of luggage and it came in at 67kgs that was close the wife said :annoyed: 
. so the main problems with the 9494 were no fm stereo and dead bass slider tape deck had the sticky pinch roller thing which i fixed with some fuel line pipe .so one of my 9191 had to die to make both of them work.the gf 1000 problems where broken speakers only left channel working so i replace the amp ics but that didnt fix the problem. in the end all it was cleaning the volume pot and bass and treble they must of had some crap in them. so the gf1000 got the 9191 speakers so both are all running 100% so thanks terry for your generosity for letting me have the privilege of owning such grails 
and the sound of the gf-1000 is unbelievingly ow some and loud very happy
