Hey People,
I was at the Salvation Army thrift store last night, looking at the horrible, unsellable junk they had on the shelves and thinking that I hadn't seen anything new in a while. Sure, seeing the same Panasonic 1-tray CD player circa 1990 made me feel good, but come on, it's been there for weeks! (as well as most of the other crap)... I was about to dip out when I noticed a guy monkeying around on the bottom floor rack looking at something big next to the computer monitors. He made a bunch of bad faces, got up and walked away. When I bent down to look at the item, I was stunned to find a seriously large boom box made by Crown Japan. The model number is a CSC-350F, and needless to say, I grabbed it, plugged it in, heard AM and FM, and ran to the checkout. Cost: 7 dollars.
I don't have a digital camera, and when I was on stereo80s.com, that model is not even featured. They did have a CSC 300 that looks very similar, but not quite the same thing. Could anyone locate a photo of this unit if possible? Thanks for any help you can provide, and have a great weekend!
