Does the TRIDENT CX-473F have a line in?

I have been looking at videos and tried to find some posts here on Boomboxery about this radio and found nothing.

Thoughts please

What do you do, plug it into the Mixing Mic? How does that work?
No, the AUX inputs to the left. ;-)

...thanks Mono, I am looking at getting one of those too. What are your opinions of that radio?

I'd also like to know your thoughts on this radio Mono....

No problem, Melly.

At times, I don't like the box because the highs can get extra crispy regardless of how much you dial back the treble, yet there's a "HIGH FILTER" switch that can calm things down a bit (the Prosonic and Trident are basically the same box):

Also, 808 bass heavy tracks have a tendency to push the rest of the music to the background somewhat whenever a kick drum hits. The bass knob is ineffective at curing that problem. :-/

However, I do like the box... Because of the bigger cabinet, the Trident's 6" woofers put out bigger bass. Compared to my other big "3-way" boxes like the Technisonic Conion TC-999 and the Tecsonic J-1 Super Jumbo, the Trident/Prosonic has better sound overall - probably because it doesn't use piezo tweeters like those other two. :-/ Loudness-wise, the Trident/Prosonic is on par with the TC-999, but no match for the J-1. It is a loud box tho...

Build quality is pretty good and solid... The Trident/Prosonic is heavier than both of those boxes I mentioned.

Very good on batteries!

I recommend getting one.

If you guys have been following it on e-bay, then you know that it went unsold at $150.00 this weekend. Granted, $81.00 is kinda steep for shipping, but stynger007 packs them very nice.
He also overhauls them before he sells them, so they come ready to rumble.

I wonder if I'm talking about the same box. 'cause like I said, $150.00, I thought, was a steal...

I don't see it now, did someone pull the trigger on it?

:-D I have one in the original box styrofoam, It was a display model from an electronic store, Is in mint condition, It did not came with the manual as the store owner couldn't find it. It needs one belt to play but it does rew and ff, As it was sitting all this time without used and one single scratch. $475 this includes shipping through the U.S. only, Commercial bubble wrap the original box and box it again for superior protection and to conceil it. Here it isBehold:

Hey Mono, thanks for that great review. It sounds like a strong performer. BTW, what is the AUTO MUSIC MEMORY that is on the front of the control panel?

No problem, Chris.

I've no clue as to what that feature does ('cause the decks on both my Trident and Prosonic don't work) but If I wanted to speculate,
it's probably a tape search feature that can skip up to 3 songs forwards or backwards. :hmmm:
