so I was in city the last friday getting my car partly fixed. quick boom browse before went out for beers, this showed up. about 1 hr drive from where i was. had a buy now so just hit it, with the plan to drive to get it the next day.
never seen/held a Trident. but on trying to find what it was it seems its a aka of the Luxor 110-9108. but with chrome knobs and colored deck keys .

ive only wiped the dust off. top contender for my cleanest radio. works perfectly

oh. and was a $20 buy now. happy days!

Never seen this model with a digital clock. I've seen them with spare tape drawers and led meters where the clock is, that box looks so awesome.

Yep, I've seen a couple without the clock. A different colour Audiosonic version.
The right led flashes in time with alarm beep (unsure if should be both?)
I was going to fully wash it but couldn't properly work out how to get insides out. No plugs unfortunately.
Randomly it's got Sanyo speakers. Maybe 9994? Huge dust caps.

I'm quite taken by it. Constantly gazing

Congrats! I have the Luxor version. The internal chassis seems to have a hidden screw somewhere that I can't find.

Hans did you look for screws on the bottom of the box, I have boxes that the internal frame has screw's holding it on the bottom.

The aka’s for this box stretch a mile long there are loads of them.

The top controls are almost always virtually the same but the fronts vary so much.
I’ve got a Conion H76 and a Palladium aka of this.

Nope, no screws on the bottom. It feels like there's a hidden screw somewhere near the tape deck.
More pics, BTW: http://wikiboombox.com/Luxor%20110-9108

Ah, I'm glad I'm not the only person to go slightly insane trying to figure that out. Corners held by rear screws, 1 each side of deck and 1 at bottom then something else holding it to the front. Played around for 2hrs looking for it then gave up.

The only thing I can think of is maybe hidden screws inside the cassette door area.

Is the Palladium version the 1 with hifi sticker and needles at bottom? I like that 1

That model is actually bigger (540mm wide instead of 497). It may have been built by the same people, but it's not really an AKA.
