trc 922

so i got a 922 i listen to quite a bit and the other day i realized that my am and short wave buttons don't stay depressed when i push them, the fm works without a problem and i was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions as to what would cause this problem and how to fix it, and out of pure curiosity, a suggestion as to what may have caused this. Ive had this box for a bout 4 years now and these switches worked when i got it, so im confused as to how they just stop working.

Hmmmm, sounds like they just need a good cleaning. There is a little flap that switches over like a "click" style pen to lock it into place, maybe it is finally dirty enough to not work properly.....

word im working on repainting a trc 931 as soon as im done with it im taking the 922 apart right now i need a cassette door two antennas and a battery cover let me know if you can help me out with these items and what you want for em and ill get at you.
