A couple of todays finds.

The Realistic is super cool. I had never seen one before and was very surprised
at its weight and sound quality. Plus... 12 LED's left and right !!
A quick check in the battery compartment ( it was so heavy i thought it must have rusty
batteries in it for sure ) revealed a clean compartment and the coloured owners manual :thumbsup:

The Sanyo was spotted by my friend who always comes to the markets with me.
She rang me and said she has found a mini Sanyo she thinks i may like so i
went straight over for a look. You bet i liked it :drool:

No, seriously, what shape is the Realistic in? What is that, an SCR-8? LOVE the leds!

Yes SCR-8
Needs an ariel and a clean but in very nice shape.
Only thing is the pause button is missing ?? not too worried about
that though :-D the rest of the buttons work fine.
Im looking forward to cleaning it up !

I remember when I lost a bid for one SCR-8 on ebay for $75 (good times)...

I was really under the impression they weren't sold here, I'd be elated to be wrong!

Im curious too :hmmm: . We are using power converters for them here in Europe :hmmm: .

Fantastic! Hey KenPat, there is a portland seller that wants $200 for that same Realistic model. :-O I was excited till I saw the price. I believe you're not too far from their either but, That seems kinda steep. I like AZA's price best, "Free-99" ;-)

Glue, it is 240v only or 12v. No volt selector here !
Safe to assume it was sold in Australia i think.

OSS, yes this is at a recycle place. That area im pictured in
basically covers all of the electronics section. Its small but can still bring up
some good finds :thumbsup:
