This just arrived today...dirty as heck
I gave it a good clean and here it is fully working!
Sadly the right channel does not come in so far but the meter shows a signal so it can't be something really bad.
I was really surprised when the tape actually started to work when I pressed play!

Nope, that is the Japanese version with black dustcaps. It also has fewer radio bands but basically does the same thing.
It's a great boombox and the remote control is the icing on the cake for this one
