Toshiba RT-S90

This morning the postman had a big parcel for me... straight from Japan I think the delivery didn't even take a week

The Toshiba RT-S90 has been on my list for a while and now found it's way to me This was also my first yahoo Japan buy and overall a good experience! Although all the delivery costs and customs fines and everything adds up it's been worth all that for such a nice looking and sounding boombox

The RT-S90 sounds veeery good! I just tested it next to my M90 and the Toshiba really doesn't need to hide. Clear sound, strong bass and loud! The M90 got a bit louder - though I think really not that much - while the Tosh's bass was tighter and the overall sound crispier. Which makes this an awesome boombox - especially since it's a little bit smaller (same height but not as wide) and weighs a little less.

This is of course just the impression I got from the first testing - in my living room. Maybe the performance in the streets differs... I'll check it out

And yes, the RT-S90 is now my No.1 candidate for Dessau

I'd like to hear some comparisons between an S-90 and WX-1, as they're pretty much the two flagship model Toshibas.

the huge heavy wx1 is MUCH more solid and powerful and loud

but the s90 is has a more supreme sound quality-
and thus --a better pleasure to hear --over a long listen
