those are gorgeous - i have one -

how much do you like the ' stereo wide' effect ? :-O
Actually on most of the boxes i prefer normal "stereo". But on this one "stereo wide" all the way  . It makes a huge difference. In a better way. In "stereo" its little bit more bassy togh. Love the real AUX in and out too  . Dont have 3 button caps, but i have one tosh03 for spares and i thing his caps will fit nicely . Ive never expecting such a nice sound actually.
Thanks for the nice comments dudes. To see your approval is making me double happy  .

Thanks Alfie. Im in constant hunt. Sold part of my dj equipment to finance boomboxery hunt too  . Actually im stepping out of some that are not in mine taste - jvc rc-838w for 100 euro for example, beaten up M70 for funny 25 euros (probably good for spares) and so on. Ive just decided (actually ive been all my live after LEDs even choosing the mixers to be whit nice leds  ) that im goin to collect mostly boxes whit led VUs. Thinking to sell/trade some of my whit needle VUs as well probably ,for flashing ones whit leds  .

If you like LED's, the Sony CFS-C5 is the box to get. They bounce back and forth like lizard tongues. And they are very accurate no matter what kind of source you are playing. There are some boxes where every single LED stays lit 100% of the time when the radio is playing (like the RX-5500 and the GE 3-5286A), and that is very dissapointing. You would think that a large manufacturer like Panasonic and GE should be able to calibrate their VU's correctly. VU's are supposed to dance, and the ones on this Sony do.
