So after picking up my latest score (and probably the last for a little while or until the missus cools down).. the monster GF767.. i figured it must be time to share some of these beauties. Bearing in mind they all need a bit of the clean and restore (some more than others) so will hopefully get blingier some day.. here's the set - with the exception of the mid size sanyo in the shed and the compact sharp in me lads room.
dig the GF-666 - bought to flick on to help fund some of the others i like but found it needs new tape door faceplates... its a mean box so don't mind it hanging around at all
my first box - still a favourite... even if the speaker did get splashed by the chocolate fountain at the last party - where it represented to the young bucks by pumping the sounds for the whole night on handfull of D's... 'oh my god, i can't believe you can run an ipod through it' bahaha
the crown 850 - super machine - go the shoulder strap. guy bought it in fiji back in the 80s - volume knob is starting to peel... not sure what to do about that - but otherwise shes a minter.
the king dog - my new sharp GF-767... gorgeous sound and awesome nick - except for some fogging in one tape deck and the tuning window.
same beast but with her skirts up - needs a good clean but she still looks the part.
the orion 411 - missing a tape deck door and with a stuck mode button meaning i haven't heard her run - but i totally dig those alloy grills
them funky grills up close and personal
super cool national panasonic... love the attitude and the shiny domes inside those grills bling up nice and classy like.
and lastly my little sharp GF-1740 - cute wee beast she is - loves hanging out with her older bro's
thats all for now, i'll round up the stragglers another night. If any body knows how i can sort some of the issues mentioned i'm all ears.

ps. thinkin' bout jackin' up a kiwi meet - shout out if anybody is keen.
