I think it was one of them. There were initially two issues with mine when I got it. The charger power brick was DOA. Thought once that was replaced that it would charge. They replaced it for free. It then charged but only to 55 to 60% capacity. So I got rid of the 2.7Ah battery and upgraded to 5AH. I then bypassed the internal charging circuit and added my own front port. I got a SLA / AGM 12V wall charger with a red / green charge status indicator and never looked back. Only about 50 dollars or so for everything The aftermarket charger gets the battery right at 13.8 and the radio does a great job 12 hours no problem Happy Days

Good to know that's worked out! That pretty much what I thought I'd do to mine when I felt like it. I have a .5amp float charger I use for my cars I thought I'd make a plug to connect to the existing port and bypass the internal.
I'm still running off your OG battery Joe. Never fully charges but it lasts for an hour unplugged. Haha.
