There isn't a lot here, so this is about what I see, all costing at most $15. The two decent finds have been the TRK9150W and the mint QT77. Torn down at least five 90s Pannies, they are fairly common.
Some are too damaged, cheap or nasty even for parts to justify the already low price.

if the ct 990 was silver and louder it would be the best boombox panasonic ever made imho, wouldn't bother with the rest caution lol

Yeah, they're going to get torn down. I just wanted to show the lack of stuff in the wild here, after two years of fairly regular visits to multiple locations. Although pricier than the thrift shops, CL has yielded an M70, PMS7000 and VZ2000, but still far less money than epay.

I've never once seen a classic style boombox at the thrifts, even an entry level one, and the ones I do see are all eggs. Hey don't knock eggs, some sound pretty good. But all I ever see is junk in all my years of searching. I guess you either go a lot more often or the thrifts where you live have better SH1T than where I am/was.

Did you score this Toshiba Eric? It was on Portland craigslist but it's gone now.

I hadn't! It's still listed, it was posted yesterday so perhaps you saw a previous listing for it?
It's actually about an hour away from me, so it would have to be a real steal, which it isn't... LOL

It's a very rare model, and built just as good as an M70 IMHO. Lots of nice metal trim. If it was listed on Ebay he'd easily get 400+ for it.

This Panasonic RX DT 680 look very fresh! Congrats! :-)
It's yours for free if you want it. It's getting torn down otherwise.

If anyone wants that Tosh I'll help you out. I'm not paying that much for it.

Yeah Reno I snagged a 707 a couple years back and really liked the sound, but it was a dented disaster unfortunately.
It's a shame a lot of later model boxes sound so incredible, but have nothing going for them on the outside.

Caution, thanks for this very good offer.
I see that JVC Floyd want this Panasonic. He lives in USA, so shipping must be cheap.
I live in EU and shipping be expensive and it's possible to have damages during shipping.
I not sure is it have multi voltage selector on back side or work only on 110v?
I hope there is second live for this good Panasonic.

PS. Other Panasonic RX-CW43 and SHARP QT 77, looks good too.

Hey Goodman, I checked it out tonight. The power button does not work. I hear a click sometimes when I plug AC in. I don't see any relays on the schematic so I'm not sure where it's coming from. The DC jack and batteries don't work either. The clock works fine, but that uses AA batteries.

I can ship it it you, but yes, it will be expensive. It weighs 20 pounds with packaging, so I figured about 25 pounds, which costs $197. It's 25.2"x10.5"x9.2", and will qualify for normal international shipping if I make a box that's 28x13.5x12. Each pound adds about $5.

Floyd if Goodman backs out you can snag it. Sorry about that, I forgot Goodman had dibs
